The government of Kosovo, under anti-coronvirus measures, has made a decision to cut off the educational education process in public and private educational institutions at all levels until 27 March 2020.
Minister of the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation Xhavit Rexhaj said they have resisted that decision in the last week for the break of learning.
It's a very serious decision, but health is primary, it's a imposed decision and the school won't become a case of the virus. It's a precaution for the choreography presentation. We are taking all measures to prevent this virus, which is still unfortunately not in Kosovo”, he said today on the morning show “good morning Kosovo” on Kosovo Radio Television (RTK).
According to him, Kosovo interrupts the measures according to options. “The states take the measures according to the means, we have decided in this case to interrupt the lesson. There are other states that have not interrupted, although there are cases, but are more developed”, he said.
Rexhaj suggested that by March 27th it is the first measure of interruption, then it will be seen how it will happen.
<x0) Resumption of learning will be in coordination. We are committed to resume learning. Municipal directors will work in disinfectation. Today we're going to send out the municipal instructions”, he said.
Minister of the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation Xhavit Rexhaj appealed all institutions to respect the government's decision.
“have no right to any institutions to work, if the decision is not respected, those who do not respect the Kosovo government's decision under measures against corruption”, he said.
