Reuters reports Kosovo pot protest

People throughout Kosovo went around their balconys, striking the pots in protest to ask the leading parties to deal with the choreography and end the political crisis which could bring down the government next week. The coalition partner in the Kosovo government said Wednesday he would [...]

The coalition partner in the Kosovo government said Wednesday that it would initiate a no-confidence motion against the government following the interior minister's dismissal as a consequence of a disagreement to declare whether or not the state of emergency to prevent the spread of corruption.

Isa Mustafa, the leader of the LDK, said the dismissal was the culmination of differences between coalition partners for the removal of the tax on Serbian goods.

They're interested in their own business. This is not the time for revenge, they should take care of the people”, Gazmend Vokshi, 60-year-old architect, Reuters reported.

If they continue this way (politicals), there will be time to take care of us and there will be many victims”, said Naim Miftari, 34.

In Kosovo, 21 cases of the virus have been recorded since last Friday, when the first cases were recorded.

Schools, borders, flights, cafes and restaurants have already closed. Only supermarkets and drugs are open.

Most of those affected by corruption in Kosovo have come from Italy or are related to someone who has returned from Italy.
