US ready to send ammunition to Turkey

Speaking in the Turkish border province of Hatay, he said the United States would ensure that equipment produced is ready for the Turkish military.
US Ambassador to Turkey David Sutterfield said Washington is considering Turkey's bid for air defence weapons.
“We are willing to send, as President Trump mentioned, for example ammunition,” said Jeffrey, adding that Turkish partners also stressed the need for humanitarian aid.
“Turks is a NATO ally. We have a very large foreign programme for selling military equipment, and most of the Turkish army will receive our equipment. As a partner in NATO, we share intelligence and make sure that they get everything needed there,” said Jeffrey.
