This is the procedure for the dismissal of Prime Minister Kurti

Kosovo in the past six years is facing a major political instability. No governing coalition in recent years has carried out their mandate.

While the LDK is collecting signatures for the collapse of Kurti Government, the Assembly will have an important role in voting the motion against Kurti Government.

Article 100 of the Kosovo Constitution clearly defines the way the Vocation of Trust for the Kurti Government is voted.

The motion of no confidence in the government could be raised with the proposal of one third (1/3) of all Parliament deputies. Government's confidence may be required by the Prime Minister. The motion of disbelief is put in the order of the Parliament on a day, not later than five (5) days, nor earlier than two (2) days from the date of its preamble”, says at point 1, 2 and 3 of this article.

While 4 points are talking about what circumstances the accepted vote of confidence is considered. The no-confidence motion has been accepted, if the majority of all Kosovo Assembly deputies have voted to, says at this point.

According to the Kosovo Constitution, if the no-confidence motion fails, the next no-confidence motion cannot be re-established during the next ninety (90) days. If the no-confidence motion is voted for the Government as a whole, the Government is considered in the resignation”, said at 6th point of this article.

LDK Chairman Isa Mustafa today has held meetings with opposition party leaders to gather enough support for the vote of confidence against Kurti to succeed.

The coalition's collapse occurred after Prime Minister Albin Kurti, without the consent of LDK leader, dismissed Interior Minister Agim Veliun, the LDK deputy chairman.
