Podujevo decides today about the next steps after the first case with Coronavirus

The deputy head of the Podujevo municipality, Nedimi Rudari, has reacted after confirming that a Podujevo citizen has resulted in positive coronavirus, asking citizens to apply all instructions to prevent the spread of this virus.

Rudari announced that the Municipal Council for Management and Implementation of Prevention and Protection Measures from COVID-19 will meet today to analyse the current situation and coordinate further activities, with the aim of protecting citizens' health.

He has announced that the Podujevo Community, in line with the Government of Kosovo decision and I recommendations. The KSHPK, for the company of preventative measures, has undertaken all necessary preventative measures since last week, making the disinfectation of public spaces and equipment of health institutions with protective materials.

“Conform the created situation and in our municipality are respecting recommendations for closing all commercial objects and restaurants and establishments. Our inspectors are constantly on the ground and are conveying the implementation of decisions made on the precautionary measures of COVID-19”, Rudari said.

A citizen of the Podujevo municipality after conducting tests at the Medieval Microbiology Laboratory of the National Public Health Institute has resulted in positive at COVID 19.

The infected person had recently returned Italy, the country in emergency condition because of the large number of people affected by coronarys.
