Panic from the Coronact, long columns of flour

After the first corruption cases in Kosovo and the proclamation of emergency in the public health sector, citizens appear in panic to provide food items, including flour, as an essential article for life. The Slatine flour factory says that because of the great flow of consumers, [...]

In the Slatina flour factory, they say that because of the large influx of consumers, they are forced to work without interruption.

Citizens have created long columns in front of the factory's pending facility to buy flour for fear of worsening the coronary situation in the country.

Nuhi Nkarman, owner of the flour factory in Slatina, told Kosovas that because of the large flow they have been forced to work over and over again.

He is concerned that if the borders are closed and the introduction of raw materials is not allowed, there will be problems in producing flour.

“We are working over and over again. Prices have not changed. We have plenty of flour, but if they close the line, then the first stuff doesn't come from. As if there are first materials coming from outside, the mill has all you want to work on and there is no room for panic. This mess has captured all of Europe, but more or less we Albanians are more hearty in the throat... if there's no one from here, there'll be more obstacles... so we don't have a problem, because we've had enough, we've probably gone through this flow of”, said Canman.

Citizens, although waiting for hours to be supplied with flour, were reluctant to speak to cameras.

However, behind the cameras some of them told Kosova Prees, that following confirmation of the cases with the Coronavirus and fear they might be left without flour, they want family members to provide bread.

Fifteen cases of coronarys have been recorded in Kosovo so far.
