Pacolli: Time to lift taxes on US proposal

AKR chairman Behgjet Pacolli has said that the tax on products from Serbia and Bosnia has reached the goals it was set for.

According to the opposition MP, this measure must be removed at the request of the United States of America.

“Now is the time in view of the AKR for Kosovo to make a decision on tax removal under the US proposal within Kosovo's strong commitment towards the strategic and irreplaceable alliance with the United States. This is the only road ahead for Kosovo and there is no alternative to Kosovo's partnership with the United States! There is no alternative to the benefits this partnership gives us as to today in the lives of the people of Kosovo since the 1990s: we must do our part! ”, Pacolli said.

“Vones in making such a decision, anti-American nationalism in the political and public sphere and dilemmas for alliance with the United States go only to the benefit of Serbia. That is why the AKR today supports the removal of the trade tax, engages and supports the American leadership in dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia as the only guarantee of a successful outcome of mutual recognition between Kosovo and Serbia”
