Nagavci: No conditions to hold motion session

Kosovo Assembly Vice President Arberie Nagavci has said it is impossible to attend a parliamentary session in which over 150 people would be present.

As a result, she has stressed that there are no conditions to hold the hearing called for the government's no-confidence motion, initiated by the LDK.

The most important thing is the care of all citizens. We have the responsibility and the human obligation not to pass citizen infection. I agree that no institute is above parliament. The session is expected to be held in a hall where the distance between MPs is no longer 30-40cm. It's about gathering over 150 people, so it doesn't meet the” conditions.

The motion to bring down the government has numbers, but the situation is like that. After the motion is in the President's discretion that once again Kurti proposes the possibility of forming the government, otherwise you go to the election”, Nagavci said at Info Magazine.

There are no conditions for holding the session. Important today is the mobilizing of all the forces to care for the health of the citizens”.

Nagavci has said Agim Veliu has resigned from the position of interior minister.

“Veliu has resigned. The moment he requested the announcement of the state of emergency, he indicated that he was not willing to perform task”.

No situation should silence the voice of MPs. If the Kurti government will continue to be in office then why the zeal for gathering over 150 people and endangering public health. We're not trying to escape. We know numbers. We are obliged to respect the guidelines of experts and Government. We're calling on citizens to stay in the house, which is the order we follow if we gather over 150 people to leave the country without Government at this time of pandemic.
