Mother killed 3-year-old son to go on vacation in Macedonia

Chiara Pasi, 33, was sentenced for the murder of her 3-year-old son Dennis in April 2018 and imprisoned for 33 years.

At that moment, her lawyers sent the case for retrial in the appeals court, after claiming the sentence handed down to their client is unfair.

Chiara is accused of killing her son and then throwing her body near a port in the coastal town of Pula.

Interestingly, the woman has not been alone in this crime, but has been helped by a 15-year-old who has also been sentenced to three years of special detention for young people in the town of Pozega, in eastern Croatia.

The youth whose identity is not known is thought to have covered the boy's face with a pillow, drowning him, while Chiara held her feet and hands tight during this time, and her son's hands were constantly moving in horror.

They then threw the infant's lifeless body into the river.

Shortly after the murder, 33-year-old called the police and reported that their son had lost them, while for the last time he saw her in a nearby park, playing with some children.
