Ministry of Finance: Avoid visiting banks, and avoid using cash

Following stepped-up measures, according to recommendations from competent health institutions, after today's meeting of the Interinstitution Management Group, the Ministry of Finance and Transfers, along with the Treasury as members of this group, have recommended citizens for several additional measures.

The Ministry of Finance has issued these recommendations today:

Avoid visits to bank branches and payment services offices (posts, etc. )

Reduce or completely eliminate the use of cash (a physical type)

Use bank shopping cards as much as possible and electronic attraction devices

Reduce moves and save distance before each bank service use

Also, authorized payment banks and institutions are required to continue disinfecting available equipment and money in circulation as often as possible for citizens
