Deputy Prime Minister Abazi, accompanied by Mitrovica Mayor Agim Bahtiri, as well as the manager of “Trepca”, Basri Ibrahimi, visited the eleven horizon of the mine “Trepca” in Stantrg about 50 strike miners, who, fearing the competition's annulment, were stuck in the quay Monday from 8:00 a.m. until midnight.
Ahaz has made it known that the strike has been interrupted and the competition will not be cancelled.
According to him, a deal has been reached for individual solutions, because not all have committed violations of the competition, and not all have been accepted with problems.
He added that, these are issues belonging to justice institutions.
Today, along with the management, with the mayor of the municipality, we met these workers who have expressed their concern for the fate of the job. It's all people whose parents died working inside Trepca. They are children of a generation who have given everything for Kosovo and to keep their families with dignity. We met and reached a deal to make an individual solution, one by one within the possibilities that exist in the BARTrepchaʹ [...] Not absolutely, no competition is cancelled, but not even violations will be tolerated. But this is an individual issue because not everyone has committed violations of the competition and not everyone has been accepted with problems, but they are issues of justice institutions. [...] The strike was interrupted”, Abazi said.
While the manager of “Market”, Basri Ibrahimi, has confirmed the strike's suspension, as he put it, miners have taken the vow that the contest will not be cancelled but will continue to implement it.
The “unfortunately a part of the workers whose names have appeared on the lists that have been accepted, who have been the children of former miners, are afraid the competition will be cancelled, and for this matter they are stuck in the gaffele. Together with the deputy prime minister, we agreed that the contest will continue and solve their problem. [...] We can state that the strike has been interrupted because they have taken the pledge that the contest will not be cancelled and will continue to implement the” contest, Ibrahim told Kosovas.
Otherwise, there is another group of citizens who had competed in this competition and were not accepted, who are protesting for several days before “Trepca” management.
They met with Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who promised to cancel the competition.
