Meta said he would disperse parliament on March 15th, Rama reacts: You can declare war to the United States.

While signing the decree against the law removing its competence for the oath of new constitutional judges, country President Ilir Meta said:

If the coup, the international mafia organization that has been playing with the sovereignty of our people, doesn't take this decree seriously, I promise, on behalf of this flag, for which thousands of martyrs and heroes have been killed, that after March 15th, when the Electoral Reform is completed, which is a condition, the red people who voted today for the death of the coup, I confess that the decree will not be signed here, but in the middle of Parliament, there, in the middle of crime. Me first and all the red people, we're the people who suffered more than anyone else communism, we're a people who give life, democracy not.

Many of you may have ever had remarks on my tone, but you should know that I in public for the sake of some state interest, have not shown 10% of the crimes that have occurred against your sovereignty and reform in justice. So I assure you, this red spring stops until the complete restoration of your sovereignty. Now I would pray a lot, in silence and justice, now I have a prayer for all of you”, Meta said.

From the SP headquarters, it has come up in a media statement saying the president cannot disperse parliament and that he could declare war on the US, but parliament does not recognise it:

The president cannot dissolve parliament, nor can he sign such decrees. I can also sign an edict to declare war on the United States, but parliament cannot recognize it. The good news is Albania's reality has received another usual outside support in Brussels”, Rama said.
