The head of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Isa Mustafa, has said that the dismissal of Agim Veliu, from the position of interior minister, by Prime Minister Albin Kurti is an unacceptable act for the party.
The decision to dismiss Mr. Veliu is unacceptable to us and as such we will hold the LDK's Headship Meeting”.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti has dismissed Interior and Public Administration Minister Agim Veliu during Wednesday.
The Kosovo prime minister's office, through a message for media, says that late last night, after midnight, Interior Minister and Public Administration Agim Veliu has been declared against the position of Kosovo's prime minister on declaring the state of emergency.
Veliu has said he is not notified about Albin Kurti's decision to dismiss him.
