Krasniqi: The prime minister is defecting to his responsibility

The deputy head of the Kosovo Assembly from the PDK ranks, Memli Krasniqi, says Prime Minister Albin Kurti has defected from the responsibilities he has to deal with the Pandemia and corvour, forgetting citizens through the cause of political crises with the minister's dismissal.

Krasniqi has written on his Facebook page that today when life is worth more than anything and when citizens need security and victory with global pandemic, Kosovo and de jure must enter a state of emergency because, Krasniqi said, this situation cannot be shared with irresponsible people like Albin Kurti.

Memli Krasniqi's full statement:

The country is on the verge of declaring the state of emergency, due to the RS 19 virus pandemic that is endangering the lives of our citizens every day and more. And exactly today, when it takes more unity, attention and state stability to manage this crisis, the prime minister finds the moment to set down political scales, dismissing the Minister of Internal Affairs. With his move, which could trigger crisis over the current crisis, the country risks losing focus on managing the critical situation, increasing the threat facing public health, order and security. Unable to assume their responsibilities, the prime minister today seals the mind that he has repeatedly conveyed as a deserter in the face of responsibility where he should be sought and as a disproportional beneficiary of present circumstances, where he should not, and where he is honest. With today's move, Albin Kurti only confirmed the urgency of formalising the state of emergency in the Republic of Kosovo. So today, when life has more value than anything and citizens need security and victory with global pandemic, our country and de jure must also enter a state of emergency because this situation cannot be met successfully with irresponsible people like Albin Kurti.
