Kosovo has enough state reserves in case of corruption presentation

While the virus “CO VID-19” is rapidly spreading around the world, Kosovo continues to remain immune to it.

In the event of the country's showing and spreading of coronarys, the Government is willing to help citizens with food and essential drugs, since since 2012 it has begun collecting state reserves that can be exploited in the event of major natural disasters.

This is regulated by the Law on the State Reserve, which was adopted in 2010.

Under this law, state reserves of goods are created to intervene operationally for the protection of the population, the economy in case of market disorder, protection of the country in situations of emergency state, civil emergency situation, terrorist action, military actions in the war, which bring immediate and serious damage to life, to the health of the population, to the living thing, to wealth, cultural heritage, to the environment, and to providing humanitarian aid in line with international law standards.

The strategic plan becomes the provision of warehouses for deployment and preserving state reserves of goods, while by law it is defined that the strategic plan, the annual programme, as well as the location of state reserves of goods are considered state secrets.

Meanwhile, a plan that would present the impact of this virus on the economy has been requested from OEK to a potential global recession.
