Two nurses and a doctor from the Gjakova regional hospital have resulted positive with COVID-19. And this has greatly disturbed the Kosovo International Health Federation (FSHK), which estimates that Kosovo does not have full capacities for the protection of doctors who are on the front lines for fighting the coronary.

FSSHK's chairman, Blerim Syla, has raised concern about the health of doctors, nurses, pro-advantage staff, who are engaged at the country level in healing patients in COVID-19.

He says that statistics on a global level point to an increase of up to 20 percent of health workers' infection cases.

According to him, Kosovo until these times stands well, but sees doctors' protection as a challenge.

Until right now, we don't have many cases in Kosovo, but the bad is the case of showing the nurse in infectious, where the first war is and we have two cases of Gjakova. We're also looking forward to cases of doctors and health workers. The number isn't large, but that's not the problem, it's how to stop it from getting into the health workers. Not that we are trying to separate health workers from other people, but from what they have to serve other patients”, he says, for Kosova Prers.

Syla says that unions have closely conveyed the work of doctors at all operating points and have found that conditions are not good. According to him, the safeguards are missing, so he appealed to institutions to take immediate measures to provide maximum security for this category.

“The FSSHK is following the situation one week from doctors and nurses on borders, quarantine and other institutions, and the measures are not proper for these workers to be protected. Get rid of the infectious and the epidemiological institute that is to some extent protected, but I consider that it takes much more to work on providing health workers' protection material. We as Federation are contacting world, European confederations, and have recently appealed to KFOR to help us. We've made the decision as Unions since Monday by personal means to provide an amount of the material where we can 1118x1>, he says.

The government on duty proposed a package of names for medical help, but other categories that are on the front line with the coronobrist. The eyelids of these help are taking them for granted at this time. He says there is no price he currently pays for the health worker's work.

There's no more money paid by a doctor and a nurse. Now it's late you've thought of some people. I don't want to get into these calculations. But what worries me as a unionist and as a man, I believe that the range of aid is greater. You can't be expelled here from other service workers, starting with cleaners, insurance, technical workers, inspectors, etc., and a large number that need an economic infusion. Should this be the time to help the health worker? I consider having this job completed we have a lot of work with the wide political spectrum in Kosovo, that health workers can finally take the place where they are shaded, and that no pandemic and other disasters happen to humanity to assess doctors”, he says.

The eye also mentions a problem that he feels is perhaps the greatest. He says the health system in the country lacks about 5 thousand workers, and that according to him should pose state concern, as he considers such an pandemic, even though it may now pass, is expected to return in autumn.

Syla says it's time for all politicians to turn their heads on the health and take it seriously.

“Five thousand health workers are missing in Kosovo. So with these workers who are really such a great heroism, they're unwilling to be megaloman. Germany's been thinking a lot earlier, and you know that there are today 800 to 1,000 doctors from Albanian soil and nurses and we're missing. So he had to think earlier. We're late today, but it's probably best to be conscious, because it's not going to end now. According to world experts at the WTO, it is expected that perhaps for this period it will end, but next autumn and winter we will have to use the next 2-3 months and prepare new nurses and doctors and staff to fight this pandemic”, he says.

In Kosovo, 91 cases with the COVID-19 have been recorded so far, while one has died. The government has already taken some precautions, including limiting the movement from 17 o'clock to 6:00 a.m.
