The number of people infected with coronarys in Kosovo has gone to 61.
The National Institute of Public Health in Kosovo has indicated that it has tested 100 samples taken in research of people who have been in close contact with confirmed cases and that all have been in isolation themselves, of them 26 have resulted positive with the Corona virus.
Of the 26 confirmed cases all are traceable contacts of positive cases (familys and close contacts), detected through active epidemiological research. Of them, 14 cases are from the municipality of Malisheva, 11 cases from Gjilan and 1 case from Gjakova.

Tonight with 23.03.2020 at the IKSHPK Medieval Microbiology lab with RT- PCR, 100 (100) samples tested taken in research of persons who have been in close contact with confirmed cases and have all been in isolation themselves., except for one occasion from the village of Panorc, Malisheva, lying at the Infective Clinic. The large-scale testing has been done in order to track all confirmed cases of contacts, which have been found actively by IKKPK teams. Of these samples taken for testing the SARS-CoV virus, twenty-six of them have resulted in positive.
Of the 26 confirmed cases all are traceable contacts of positive cases (familys and close contacts), detected through active epidemiological research. Of them, 14 cases are from the municipality of Malisheva, 11 cases from Gjilan and 1 case from Gjakova.
From the date 08.02,2020 to 23,03,2020, at the Moldovan microbiology laboratory in IKSHPK with the RT- The PCR, a total of 690 suspicious samples in the SARS-CoV-2 virus have been tested, and of them a total of sixty-one (61) have resulted positive, with a (1) case of the death of an 82-year-old.
In the IKSHPK in a continuous 24-hour period is being contacted and monitored by all case contacts, as well as contact contacts being forced to self-insult and seek medical assistance if they have symptoms.
On a global level, between December 31, 2019 and March 23, 2020, a total of 372,444 cases of COVID-19 and 16,312 cases of death were reported. The largest number of cases reported by China (81,092), Italy (63,927), U.S.A. (41,569), Spain (33.089), Germany (27.558), Iran (23.049), France (16.689), Switzerland (8.547), United Kingdom (5.837), Netherlands (4.749), Austria (4,306), Belgium (3.743), Turkey (1.326), Greece (95), Slovenia (442), Croatia (315), Serbia (249), northern Macedonia (136) and Albania (Montenegro).
