Democratic Party of Kosovo deputy Uran Ismaili has reacted following Glauk Konjufca's decision to sack several ambassadors, in particular to the ambaador Vlora Citaku.

Today's foreign minister decisions, including for the dismissal of Ambassador Vlora Citaku, are clearly party decisions that do not take on the basis of the contribution to representation of the state.
Facebook download news releases harm not only the target person but the country as well. With these decisions, the Vetevendosje Movement has once again shown its party interest to the state. Kosovo needs a strategic diplomacy, not governments that reactivate at narrow and totally party bases.
Ambassador Citaku has done excellent work in Washington and the UN, where she has represented Kosovo worthyly, often embarrassing Serb leaders to whom the new government has surrendered unconditionally. In short term, non-recognition of this contribution may seem to bring benefits to the party, but in reality seriously hurts Kosovo on the long-term plans.
