Lawmaker Fatemeh Rahbar had won the mandate in the last elections in Tehran. Health Ministry spokesman Kianoush Yahanpur said on March 6th that 17 people have lost their lives within 24 hours, and another 1,000 have been diagnosed.
Coronavius has claimed the lives of several officials in Iran, including the adviser of the Supreme Leader and special envoy to the Vatican. More than 20 lawmakers, as well as the deputy minister's president in Iran, have resulted in a positive outcome of the Coronavirus.
