The International Economic Forum in St Petersburg, scheduled to be held by 3-6 June, has been cancelled due to the coronary epidemic, Organising Committee Chairman Andrei Belousov said.
The decision was made due to an earlier decision by the World Health Organization to declare a state of emergency of international importance due to the coronary epidemic and due to information about its spread to countries whose representatives will participate in the forum.
The forum's “to protect the health of Russian citizens, guests and participants was decided not to hold a” forum this year, the chairman of the organising committee said.
Among the events predicted at the forum was a “Coronavirus panel of the new - old challenges: How to reduce the economic consequences of an epidemic?
