After obtaining information for a case affected by COVID-19, the Malisheva municipality, based on recommendations from state institutions, has taken all necessary measures to monitor the situation. At this point, a joint meeting has ended between the Municipal Council for Management the situation with COVID-19, the Regional Institute of Public Health in Prizren, the KKMF and the Kosovo Police.
All activities related to the case have been co-ordinated, where they are identifying all persons who have had contact with the patient, who are also being identified, as well as at all entrances to the Malisheva municipality, based on the message received by the country's prime minister, are being deployed by police patrols.
IRSHP officials are handling the case and are giving the necessary instructions to all those who have had contact with the currently diagnosed patient with COVID-19.
In this case, the chairman of the Malisheva municipality, Ragip Begaj, has called on citizens not to worry, but to apply instructions given by the IKSHP and the government of the country.
All competent municipal organs, in cooperation and in co-ordination with the Ministry of Health and ICHP, are managing the situation, so there is no room for panic, or we should all stick to the guidelines that are constantly appearing in the media and social networks.
