Hoti has said the measures have been taken by the government to prepare for the threat of COVID-19:
“1. The necessary materials are distributed through medical centres in all municipalities, to police, customs officers, border police and all other emergency services.
2. The Interior Ministry and the Defence Ministry prepare necessary facilities in case of deployment of affected persons.
3. Kosovo citizens' entrances are controlled by health personnel.
4. Businesses pray to perform their work with honor and responsibility, not to move prices, and relevant institutions conduct field controls (in marketing, pharmacies and other points where basic materials are offered) based on the legal competencies these institutions have in such situations.
5. Public and private media pray to do their work with responsibilities and journalistic ethics, contributing to the right and full information of citizens for measures to take but not causing any panic.
6. Citizens convey the situation and fully respect the announcements and guidelines of responsible institutions.
(these instructions were sent to the institutions responsible)”, he wrote.
