Prime Minister Albin Kurti, once he heard the statement, immediately dismissed Veliun as breaking the coalition agreement with the LDK.
The agreement said Kurti could not dismiss any LDK minister without first consulting the coalition partner.
The state of emergency had asked Deputy Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti six hours before Veliu said so, but Kurt did not dismiss Hoti for such a statement.
