Health Ministry: Masks produced in Gjakova are medical devices

The Ministry of Health has been declared regarding the beginning of the production of masks from a production business in the Gjakova municipality.

A media communiqué says that such products are not medical equipment and do not have certificates that guarantee production quality standards as medical equipment.

The S.H.A. claims it is not in its own competence, nor in its entities' capacity that the company of any action in relation to this production subject activity.

The question of production subjects is more about the responsibilities of the Ministry of Economy and its monitoring and implementation mechanisms.

I hope that this issue will be addressed in an adequate way in the interest of citizens, without violating business within the legal framework of the business subject.
