As 5698 infected and 92 victims are recorded, Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdogan decided to suspend all flights in order to prevent the spread of the coronary.
“If we take all these precautions, we believe with Allah's permission that we will overcome this matter”, the Turkish president said, urging the people to remain calm and not be conquered by fear.
On the other hand, as far as domestic transport is concerned, Erdogan said travel within cities would be done only with police permission. During these days, Turkey has proceeded with implementing austerity measures, disinfecting roads, parks and limiting hours of movement.
