Fear of Coronavius increases control on Kosovo- Albania

After the first cases of coniferum in Albania, border controls at the Vremica border checkpoint have evidently been increased. No suspicious case has been spotted there. Even at this point, there are times when cars with Italian license plates are coming in. The circulation between the two countries according to border police is uniform. [...]
Local health unit doctor in Kukes Sofia Shahu, who is standing at this crossing point for weeks, says there have been no suspects in the last 24 hours.
The commander of this border point, Arber Telaku, says no major changes of travelers to the Kosovo-Albania border have been observed, however, say they are precisely applying the advice they have received from the Public Health Institute and thanking travelers for co-operation.
Although Italy has closed its borders, there are still travelers in Vremica who enter Kosovo with their vehicles.
All those who travel in small cars, vans and buses and are from suspected areas are undergoing detailed control on both sides of the border. /rtk
