Based on the articles coming from people who were in Wuhan, China, in self-isotation, Periscope brings some advice that might be useful to you as well.
Keep a journal
Write in a journal about the current daily events that could happen to you. Everything from the number of plaques you find in your toilet, to the lunches you've eaten, the news you've read, or the thoughts you've had.
You can also think of people who need help in these wicked hours. People who have less food than you, or are weaker in health. Going out with gloves and masks and helping others is an unhindered action. This increases your strong sense of purpose and keeps your mind occupied.

Another thing that can radically change your experience of this period is reading one of the best works of existential writer Alber Kamy, Murtaya.
The city of Oran enters Carantine because of the plague, as the title suggests, and immediately we recognize the generosity and honesty of some, the evil and the dishonest of others, but also the existential situation in isolation, what matters and what doesn't matter in that situation.

Don't watch news all day
You don't just live to watch the news. Remember that. Your life is worth more than lying or sitting on a couch watching the constant repetition of news editions. You can read Periscope and thus limit your presence on the news.
