The latest pandemic situation is also jeopardising the functionality of KED and KESCO. This, as electricity payments have fallen to minimum, making spending coverage impossible.
In Kosovo, there is a chain of electromagnetic companies, which each create costs based on the services they offer. In the end, the full burden of paying off obligations falls to KESCO, such as the last link and KDS as the previous one.
The largest burden is electricity payments, which KESCO accepts to supply consumers, which receive multimillion costs within the month, energy accepted by both KEK and other producers.
At the same time, local electricity is often not enough, forcing the company to import to meet consumer needs. Then the additional added cost is the transmission. Finally, there are its operations on the company, given the assistance and assistance of the distributive network, payments to about 22,000 employees and other operational marks.
In this situation, the payment of electricity is vital for supply management. We approach all consumers to pay their dues in order to maintain service control.
Electricity is vital in these difficult times that the country is undergoing and in coping with this situation of involving all acts of action is necessary. We are also expecting solutions and support from the Government of Kosovo, as the payment situation is heavily burdened following the tendency to extend payments based on public statements made by the government.
