Cronavirus spread, Greece closes 28 schools

Across the country, authorities have decided to shut down or suspend 28 educational institutions. Also, with the ministry's decision, all organised school trips abroad have been suspended, at least until March 13th.
After recent risk estimates by the European Agency for Disease Control and Prevention, it is estimated that the risk of COVID-19 outbreak in Greece is moderate to high.
Taking into account the above, the National Committee for the Protection of Public Health Against Coronavirus COVID-19 recommended the suspension of schools that have groups of students who have returned from organized school trips to areas with transmitted diseases in Italy or that may have had contact with confirmed people of the Coronobrus.
