A strong earthquake has hit Croatia, namely its capital, causing widespread damage and panic.

The epicentre was 7 kilometers (4 km) north of Zagreb at a depth of 10 km (6 km).
The Croatian government through a tweeting post called on citizens to “concentrate peacefully” and “maintain social distances”.
“We call on the citizens of the city of Zagreb who emerged after the earthquake, Hold up! We know you're worried, but remember the situation we're all in. Follow city services instructions and relevant institutions, but first of all, once again, MAYENIA You're welcome.
