Crisis government Kurti delivers major blow to local businesses

The ministry of finance and transfers today has made a decision to suspend all state fees for local businesses, following the situation created with the coronary in Kosovo, Periscopi broadcasts.

Here's the full decision:

Based on the Government's decision on the situation regarding COVIID19, for the emergency public health announcement, the Public Finance Management Law and Responsibilities Law, as well as the Law on General Administration Procedure, Treasury Director General has made a decision about:

• The temporary outcome of executing judicial or final decisions,
• The outcome of all requests addressed to the Treasury for direct payments, according to Article 39 (2) of the LMFPP, which concerns unpaid bills over 60 days.
• The temporary output of all requests to Treasury (MFT) for compensation for physical and legal persons.

The Treasury staff will address the accepted requirements by 11.03.20. While the specific agreed-on demands are temporarily suspended, and after making another decision or abolishing the decision on the emergency health situation, the treatment of requests will continue where it remains.

Except for these three categories mentioned above, all regular payments made by budgetary organisations (central and local level) through the Public Finance Management System will continue to be prosecuted and paid by the Treasury without any restrictions, in line with legislation in force.

It is also noteworthy that because of the created situation, all demands that come from parties, including those from budgetary organizations, must be presented only through official E - mail (scanned) to avoid physical contact.
