While in Kosovo until right now 63 people have proved positive with the COVID19 pandemic, the state of 28 patients located in the Infectious Clinic is stable.

This has been confirmed for Kosovapress by the Director of the Infectious Clinic, Lindita Ajazaj-Berisha, who said that the patient's condition is stable right now, while eight of them need oxygen.

So far from the National Institute of Public Health, a total of 732 suspicious samples in the COVID19 virus have been tested, and of them, a total of sixty-three (63) cases have resulted positive, with a case of death of an 82-year-old.

The director of this clinic stressed that patients who are being treated at this clinic are of different ages.

There are 28 patients currently confirmed with positive COVIED 20 of them in stable condition, and eight cases are cases that need oxygen therapy. The state of patients is currently stable, and are constantly being conveyed by medical teams to the isolation departments. The entire Infectious Clinic staff, starting with doctors, nurses, sanitation, cooks and all the accompanying staff, is in a state of readiness. And we're all serving citizens for 24 hours. For the moment thanks to the commitment of the Hospital Service Directorate and the Health Ministry, the situation is stable, there is no need for panic. 0239. Director Ajazaj-Berisha said this clinic is constantly equipped with the necessary therapies to treat these patients.

She pointed out how the Infectious Clinic is also supplied with protective equipment needed for medical staff, which is the front line against this pandemic.

We've started much earlier, so at the Infectious Clinic right now, we have significant personal protective measures and we're constantly in touch with Hospital Service, the directorate and the Health Ministry are constantly getting ready and supplies consistent according to the needs of the Infectious Clinic and we're equipped with protocols that are being applied in other countries. We've also started with these new protocols, and all patients are related to the indicators being put into therapy. And there are patients with other accompanying diseases, special drugs we're trying to meet the patients ' demands and needs over 24 hours so that they don't need to be supplied from outside. Each patient has adequate self-intensive therapy that we need a time until the insurance of this therapy becomes “, Ajazaj-Berisha said.

Ajazaj-Berisha for Kosova Prees showed that this clinic currently has enough teams available to help Kosovo citizens affected by Coronavirus.

It called on citizens to have better management of the situation respected the measures taken at the IKSHP and the Government of Kosovo.

The director of the Infectious Clinic has asked Kosovo citizens who have had contact with people who have come from the epidemic regions and have any symptoms of this virus should be visited by the medical teams of the Infectious Clinic.

We remember that last night two new cases of Coronavirus were confirmed, both cases of female gender contact, one with residence in the village of Vrapcic-Gylan, aged 25, and the other with residences in the village of Low Studies, aged 73.

And in order to prevent widespread pandemic COVID19 Kosovo government in co-ordination with recommendations by the National Institute of Public Health has taken concrete measures.
