Foreign Affairs Minister Glauk Konjufca said today that Josep Borrell and Miroslav Lajcak are not an appropriate combination on the part of the EU for involvement in the dialogue process, as they come from states that continue to oppose Kosovo's recognition as a state.
Konjufca in reporting to the Commission for Foreign Affairs has presented the current job as foreign minister.
We don't welcome the fact that Lajcak comes as an emissary for dialogue from a non-concedented state. We say it can't be the combination Borrell and Lajcak coming from non-concilative states”, he said.
Konjufca said the EU's minister for dialogue should not include Bosnia in the package as well.
I've met Slovakia's foreign affairs minister, Lajcak, twice. We have suggested that it is very important for us to reach a broad consensus for dialogue with Serbia. The second is without our satisfaction of mixing in the same package with Bosnia. Dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia should be a topic that has its independence and not mix with any other state. We have this clear from”, Conjufca said. /Kosovo pres/
