On Wednesday, National Security Adviser Robert O'Brien accused China of a slow response after the first emergency of the choreography, adding that it has cost the world two months' preparation for the pandemic.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Geng Shuang has said that the unreceptive and irresponsible comments of American officials will not help efforts to halt the pandemic.
He says China's efforts have helped the world prepare.
We would like some American officials to concentrate their energy on fighting the virus and promoting co-operation, rather than blaming China, he said.
Coronavius first began in December in the central city of China, Wuhan and the Hubei province, where at least two-thirds of all corruption cases have been recorded.
