CEC allocates 350,000 euros for political parties

The Central Election Commission has earmarked 350,000 euros for support of political subjects for March. This sum is divided according to the number of seats in the Kosovo Assembly. The director of the Office for Registering Political Partys and Certificates, Yll Buleskaj, said 602 observers from two international NGOs and organisations were presented this week.
He has also made a brief summary of the secretariat's activity.
“The investments have been printed on the basis of criteria the CEC has approved. Citizens should be informed how to complete the ballot. We are adding security measures due to formal errors.”, he said.
Citizens of Podujevo will have the opportunity to elect their new mayor on 15 March. For the extraordinary elections in this municipality, three political subjects -- Vetevendosje Movement, the Democratic League of Kosovo and the Democratic Party of Kosovo -- which have already been certified by the Central Election Commission.
The candidates in the race for the first of Podujevo are: Nexmi Rudari from the LDK, Speed Bulqi-VVV, and Naim Fetah PDK.
