The municipalities affected with the COVID-19 pandemic say they are applying the government's recommendations and the IKSCK, thus taking additional safeguard clauses and respecting quarantine rules.

Some of the representatives of the municipalities contacted by Kosova Prees, announced the measures and needs they have in the situation.

The mayor of the Year's municipality, Sokol Haliti, said over the telephone, that no one is helping this municipality with food and that residents who are stationed in quarantine are being supplied by the red cross and municipal internal organisation.

And we're going to keep the situation very self-forced, and there's no food provided except for the internal municipal organization that we have in the villages, we're co-operating with the red cross, with humanitarian organizations in here, with donors, with our own components, so by our own forces. We've been delivering 200 food packages these days, while in terms of equipment we've been brought, very few masks and protective equipment, but we are waiting to get us more”, Haliti told Kosovas.

Haliti stressed that the situation in quarantine is under control and that citizens are respecting its rules. As for the number of Coronavirus affected, he said seven people with this virus continue to be affected.

While Nedmi Rudari, deputy chairman of the Podujevo municipality, says of KosovaPress, that quarantine is being implemented at the stations where the police are located, but residents of the four villages located in quarantine are heading to secondary roads.

Rudari pointed out that they lack protective means.

According to police information that are on the main roads that are asphalted, quarantine is respected for a hundred percent, but there are residents who go down secondary roads, in the fields, but their numbers are very small, perhaps out there buying something... According to medical teams doing regular checks and visits, no symptoms are observed in other family and no other people... we will respect any measures that take central level... We have a shortage of protective tools, but as far as food is concerned, we will do our best with both the municipality and other organizations such as the red cross, so that no citizens in this area should be left without food”, Rudari said.

The mayor of the Suhareka municipality, Bali Muarremaj, said of Kosova Preis, that in this municipality they are equipped with all necessary measures against spreading the coronary.

Muharrem stressed that there is only one case of coronary so far in this municipality.

We've taken many measures, the situation in Suhareka is calm and panic-free, so now we have only one case of a family that happened in the evening, right away that family we've isolated... We're a municipality that has a large number of diaspora, we have right now in our municipality somewhere around 117 that's here, we're in control of their registry. I take the opportunity to thank the first medical team in Suhareka that is doing a wonderful job, we have set up the story, the other room that has nothing to do with other citizens who go to the QKMF, we've been disinfecting in villages and cities, we've taken all the measures over time, we don't have any problems in Suharrequex1>, Muremaj said.

Iron Sejdiu, director of health and social welfare in the municipality of Kline, says the situation in this municipality is currently stable.

He stressed that the medical staff is prepared, and that there are currently no other people affected by coronary.

The situation in Kline municipality is stable at the moment, we don't have any other cases presented by coronary. We're in constant motion in co-ordination with the Institute and the Ministry... As for the QKMF staff, they're prepared, ready, protected, then we're constantly preparing because we don't know how long it's going to last, and when it's going to end, but under these circumstances and at the moment we're prepared, but I believe this is now in national interest. My health initiative is being organised, and I think they have the long-term situation” in focus, says Sejdiu.

The citizens' appeal is continuing to make the Ministry of Health and the Kosovo National Public Health Institute, under which there is no room for panic, but for increased caution and implementation of recommendations.
