Andre Ljuljovic died of complications caused by Coronavirus, a report Saturday afternoon of high school “Archbishop Stepinac” in White Plains, New York, reports the newspaper “Illyria”.
This Albanian-American medium says Ljuljovic graduated from high school in 2007 and was involved in much sports.
Andre, whose parents are Albanian immigrants, is the first Albanian-American known to have died from COVID-19.
Westchester, where he lived, was one of the hot spots for the spread of the virus. His case is also an indication that illness can be dangerous and deadly even for younger ones
Many members of the Albanian-American community on social networks expressed their condolences to this tragedy.

Ljuljovici is one of 728 people who died in New York State by the Coronavirus.
