Nearly 200 businesses will be fined for tax violations at the time of pandemic

The filed cases are in the treatment procedure in the Unit for the pronunciation of mandate fines within the Kosovo Tax Administration, from which punitive decisions are expected to be drawn based on reports of experts that have argued violations. The total value of all fines is not yet known, as it is expected to be found depending on violations, writes today “Koha Ditore”.

Controversial violations, according to Kosovo Tax Administration data, are mainly about rising prices of basic food products, as well as some pharmaceutical products. All violations that have been filed by the Tax Administration for Source have been denounced by citizens in the open phone numbers of this administration.

For about a week on these numbers, according to Kosovo Tax Administration spokeswoman Valentina Bytyqi-Sefa, more than 3 thousand calls have been accepted.
