Former American businessman Jerry Welle has given a lecture on the subject “current American policy” today at AAB College.

He also referred to the tax issue, which he said is an obstacle to foreign investors, Kosovo reports.

Kosovo has a bright economic future. But, the tariff hinders bringing foreign investors to Kosovo. For example, many Americans want to invest millions of dollars here. In politics, it's more important to make friends, whether they're Democrats or Republicans”.

The former corruptionist has congratulated election winners in Kosovo, as well as praised the behaviour of losers who accepted it.

Weller, who came to Kosovo at the invitation of the American Economic Ode, spoke to the students about his political journey when he was part of the American Congress.

He said the challenge for him has been finding a balance between the government and the American legislature. The 62-year-old also said that the US state would stay forever in favour of Kosovo.

“I encourage the new government to commit to economic development and focus on creating new jobs. Serbia has great interest in recognising Kosovo as a state because of the benefits it can bring to its” action.

And I know this state has not worked in Kosovo's best, following a controversial campaign against this new state, but I am convinced that the work of Ambassador Green will bring results”.
