Tiger Ye, 21, lives in Wuhan and starts showing symptoms in mid-January. Here he tells the story of his illness and recovery.
On January 17th, his muscles were all hurt. Ye had a little fever, not enough to notice the disease.
I took some cold pills because I thought it was a normal cold. Now that I think about it, I may have lost the best time for treatment, failing to contain the virus with antiviral drugs in its early stages”, he said, writes The Guardian.
I don't know how I got the virus. I always eat in the same Hong Kong-style restaurant under my school. I wasn't going too far around that time, because it was so cold, and since I was tired of classes, I always went home. After the semester break, I stayed with my parents rather than in the dorm. I started wearing a mask a few days later when I saw everyone around me wearing masks.
On January 25, I had a check. I had started coughing. It was a very dry cough with a yellow limeboard. The results showed that my situation was getting worse, with the infection spreading throughout my lungs. The doctor gave me a leak. IV, while the oral medicine remained the same. By the time the doctor told me I was suspected of having a virus, only an expert committee can decide who will be able to use the test plot.
On January 26th, getting up had become extremely difficult, and I was shivering from the cold. I felt I had a high fever, and I was 39C. Reports later said that the situation could develop extremely rapidly in the middle stage, but before I knew it, the fever had disappeared until that evening. It felt like I was in hell and back. That period from January 21st to 26th was the worst time. I coughed so bad my stomach hurts and my back hurts. These were some of the worst days of my life.
Then I realized that I needed some spiritual support or maybe I couldn't do it. So I saw my favorite animation show and seeing their normal, happy lives, I thought I might have to say goodbye to this life forever. But, watching the show, heroin had problems in the first half, but she finally did it and succeeded in her career.
You see, I would fly to Japan in mid-February to go to a concert by Ayaka Ohashi, a Japanese voice actress and animist artist, but with the impasse I thought everything could be canceled. I had attended her solo show last year, and after watching her, I had decided to make a career from managing voice actors. So watching the show, I thought: I had to if I wanted to see her rare concert. This really encouraged me and gave me relief along with the medicine. I dreamed twice that week I met him.
I took another exam on January 28, which showed that both of my lungs were improving. After a medical consultation between doctors, they decided that I would qualify to be tested for the coronavirus.
The Virus Spreads
My older brother began to have fever and cough on 29. The results of his exam showed that there were several small pieces of glass shadows in the lungs. He was considered a suspected case. On the same day, my grandmother also had fever. As for me, my test results were positive and I was officially a confirmed case. The hospital gave me five days for an antidote - Free HIV, while my family was also beginning to take prescribed drugs. Because of my improved situation and limited hospital beds, I was told to go home and isolate myself, and my IV therapy ended.
On February 4th, a CT scan showed continued improvements in my lungs, and my cough stopped. They gave me another coronary test and recommended more drugs. The next day the test results showed that I was negative about the virus, but according to doctors ' instructions, I had to return for another test. On February 7th, the results again showed that I was negative and I was declared healed.
