This pledge has been awarded by Education Inspectorate Director Derfrem Gashi, who has warned that the same -- as they did last week with one of the nests in the capital -- will deal with others.
A week after the closure of a private pre-school institution due to its failure to license, the Education Inspectorate has warned of similar actions for other institutions operating illegally.
The director of this Inspectorate, Defream Gashi, has declared for <x0” that there will be no tolerance for any institution operating without a license.
He has said that the Inspectorate has no precise data on the number of pre-school institutions operating without license, which he has sought help from parents and citizens.
According to him, with only 47 inspectors being unable to identify all institutions operating illegal. He said they expect 20 more inspectors to add this year.
Meanwhile, education affairs connoisseur Youth Qehaja has blamed the Ministry of Education for not treating the licensing of pre-school institutions properly.
According to him, it's inconsistent to say that August doesn't have accurate data on the number of pre-school institutions.
He has called on the Inspectorate to do the same as last week with other unlicensed nests and not use unilateral policies for certain institutions.
August's Media Office has said they have intensified their work on identifying institutions that work without license and they will be banned from activities until they are equipped with them.
It adds that the Commission for licensing and re-licensing of pre-school educational institutions is functional and is continuing to process the subjects, which undergo this process.
There are delays in processing these subjects because the number of institutions applying for licenses is constantly on the rise, as well as the length of license/relicability based on the USA-15/2016 maximum is three years. However, we will step up efforts to increase the efficiency of this department so that these materials can be processed more quickly”, the AugustI response reported.
According to a list of AugustIs with licensed private nests, in which only 121 institutions are found. Meanwhile, the Education Inspectorate last year has filed criminal charges against 28 private institutions operating without license.
According to this list, 16 unlicensed nests are in Pristina, 3 in Prizren, 3 in Pec, 2 in Mitrovica, 2 in Fushe-Kosovo, 1 in Decani and 1 in Vushtrri.
