At least 3 arrested so far are from the police action in Grushopek in Sarajevo for the capture of 1.3 tonnes of cocaine.
Top Channel journalist Anila Hoxha has exclusively obtained cocaine photos that were seized in the municipality laden with bananas and that had entered from Montenegro and then emerged from Qafa Thana customs for Macedonia.
In this well-organised action, Italian police and Albanian officials have been aware of the shipment. Police action has been held in Krushopek, Sarajevo, and the Albanian Directorate for Organised Crime has also participated.
Albanian police, with a group of highly trusted experts, said sources of journalist Anila Hoxha, were included at the request of partners who have sought to track the truck and survey, while the superaction was under way.
The first reports say cocaine originally came from America to Bar (Montenegro) and had to be completed in Kopper (Slovenia). For reasons unknown at the moment, the destination has been changed and cocaine has ended up in Krushopek. Top Channel learns that when it entered Albania, the police observed it, in case the cocaine was fired. The truck was with Macedonian license plates, while in Albania it has not stopped.
