Thaci uses this symbolic day to ask institutions to welcome US advice

The country's president, Hashim Thaci, has said that listing Albanians near the American people and state has produced the biggest political and historical results for Kosovo.

He has invited Kosovo citizens and institutions to be open and welcome US councils and requirements.

“288 years ago was born George Washington, patriot and leader of the war for independence, statesmanship and first president of the United States of America. His figure as one of the founders of the United States and as the most just unifying president has been given the inevitable preference as “first of the war, the first of peace and first in the hearts of American citizens”. This historical personality has surpassed American size and has become a powerful reference to the freedom - loving peoples.

We are grateful for our historic journey to freedom and independence under the powerful support of the United States of America. Our ties to the US are much deeper and exceed the simple political and institutional ratio between the two countries. They are the spiritual and historical ties of a trust and mutual assessment report, which is unified under the principles of freedom, democracy and the infallible rights of citizens.

As history has proved, our alignment with the American people and state has produced the biggest political and historical results for Kosovo.

We have a duty to strengthen this bond even more and to travel together in new projections.

I invite Kosovo citizens and institutions to be open and welcome US councils and requirements, because this friendship is destiny and a great blessing for us.
