After signing the agreement on railways between Kosovo and Serbia, Kosovo President Hashim Thaci said this agreement is a message of peace and economic development.

In a conversation for Radio Free Europe, from Munich President Thaci said recently reached agreements could positively contribute to reaching a final agreement with Serbia.

The country's president has reiterated his disappointment with the EU for failing to lift visas.

From Munich, where the agreement between Kosovo and Serbia was signed today for railways and highways, Thaci has said Kosovo is desperate and feels betrayed amid non-visa liberalisation.

He has also said that he hopes the EU will correct this error according to strategically and make a quick decision on the issue.

Of course everybody's here, the ones who should be. We will focus on preserving a lifelong partnership with the United States. The role of the United States is irreplaceable. The EU, failing to make the decision on visa liberalisation for Kosovo, is making a strategic mistake and Kosovo feels very disappointed, disappointed and betrayed by the EU. I want to hope Borrell makes the right move and makes this decision”, Thaci said.
