One of the most controversial names to deal with the Pristina-Belgrade dialogue is that of top diplomat Miroslav Lajcak.
However, Kosovo President Hashim Thaci is not enjoying the fact that the EU will handle dialogue with lower-level officials.
The European Union must give political weight to its involvement in Kosovo-Serbia dialogue. By lowering the level and responsibility of an unbundling emissary does not help that goal. The EU must support all efforts leading to reaching the historic agreement and working with partners who produce results of”, Thaci wrote on Twitter.
