Something strange is happening at the North Pole

What is the threat of the polar cloud?

This condition causes polar clouds to form in the stratosphere, which forms in its coldest parts, where temperatures drop below -85 °C. These clouds are less common than polar lights.

Despite their beauty, these clouds play a major role in the process of becoming impoverished. At the South Pole, they help create the infamous ozone hole. The reason is that these clouds stimulate the formation of chlorine and bromit, which are chemically highly active and contribute to accelerated ozone destruction.

The cold conditions supporting the formation of these stratosphere clouds continue until September, October over Antarctica, when the sun's rays a photochemical process contributing to the destruction of the ozone layer.

Uncertain Spring and Early Summer

In the case of the North Pole, the temperature is usually not cold enough to form these clouds. However, current indicators suggest a critical state of ozone.
