Lufthansa has also cancelled flights to airports in Hamburg, Berlin, Hanover, Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Kiln and Stuttgart.
Because of the Chiara storm, which is called Sabine in Germany, there was an end to the railway traffic.
German railway company Deutsche Ban has warned it will suspend long transportation lines across Germany and Europe from 1700 p.m. onward
