Resul Sinan withdraws completely from politics

Resul Sinani, whose recent years have also been engaged in politics, originally as a member of the Initiative, and in recent elections as candidate for MP from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo has decided to eventually leave politics.

He has made it known through a status on the social network Facebook, where he has shown, among other things, the reasons for his departure.

But Sinan, who for many years was a news presentation at RTK, has shown among other things that his commitment to the benefit of Kosovo's citizens will never stop.

We remember that in the October 6th elections, Sinani, who is at the same time a professor at a private college, has managed to get only 862 votes.

With the election of the New Government, the process of establishing institutions was completed today, resulting from the October 6th elections of 2019. Even though I had made my decision right after the elections, I considered this to be the right moment to declare my departure from politics. I saw the October 6th elections as an opportunity to continue the political commitment to contribute to the country, but the small number of votes did not give me this opportunity and free me from this obligation I had made myself. I end this chapter by taking along a precious experience, but I regret that I didn't get the opportunity to contribute politically. Fortunately, my good commitment to society is being given to the professional field of younger generations of journalists as a university professor, and soon even in my vital profession on television screen! Kosovo is ours, regardless of where we are, we must serve with honor and dignity.
