China reported on 98 deaths Tuesday and 1,886 new cases affected by coronavirus.
The figures point to 1,868 total deaths in China and to 72,436.
Outside China, meanwhile, more than 500 cases have been recorded in nearly 30 countries.
Four people have also died outside of China - France, Hong Kong, Philippines, and Japan.
The new coronavirus type causes acute respiratory disease, which has been named Coddy-19.
For the first time, it appeared in the city of Vuhan, China, in December.
