All of this, following the opening of the road by Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, to take their oath, following the replacement made by the Central Election Commission, KTV reports.

The president's office has confirmed that on Tuesday they have submitted the decree of names of new deputies to the Assembly.

Kosovo's “president, in line with his constitutional and legal duties, has sent to the Assembly during the day the names of deputies who have been replaced by the Central Election Commission”, this Office has said.

And in expectation of it, was Speaker Vjosa Osmani.

The Central Election Commission, February 7th, has approved the president's recommendation regarding the next candidates to replace MPs that have become ministers.

And this case has been sent to the tribunal by Vetevendosje candidate Tinka Kurti.

It has demanded interpretation of the Court's election Law provisions, because although it has received more votes than the other two male candidates, it will not be part of the Kosovo Assembly, because the law envisions replacement being made solely based on the same gender.

“cannot be allowed institutionalised discrimination by law”, Kurti wrote on Facebook.
